Cameron Marley was the adopted son of the singer Jimmy Buffer. He was adopted in 1994 as a small child. Jimmy and his wife, Jane Slagsvol, also had two daughters, Savannah Jane and Sarah Delaney. The first-born daughter, Savannah Jane, is a radio personality. hosts the Savannah Daydreamin radio hour on the Sirius and XM satellite and online station Radio Margaritaville.
